Traveling to Thailand is popular among tourists from around the world. To facilitate travel, the Ministry of Interior has announced a visa exemption for holders of passports or equivalent travel documents from specified countries. The latest update was on May 9, 2024.

Qualifications for Foreign Nationals Entering the Kingdom

Passport or Equivalent Travel Document: Those wishing to enter Thailand must hold a passport or an equivalent travel document from a country that is exempt from visa requirements.
Length of Stay: Holders of passports or equivalent travel documents from visa-exempt countries can stay in the Kingdom for up to 30 days.
Some countries are also eligible for Visa on Arrival, which allows travelers to obtain a visa upon arrival in Thailand, permitting a stay of up to 15 days. This makes travel even more convenient and quicker.
